Donegal host Dublin this Sunday the 26th of February and Tyrone on Saturday the 18th of March. These two fixtures are important for the club.

We will need a lot of stewards on both days. If you are available on either day or both days can you let Alan Martin, Club Secretary, know to confirm on 086 172 3899. We would ask all members to give up a few hours on these days as they are so important to the club. Many thanks.

Donegal Hurlers:

Hard luck to the Donegal Senior Hurlers who lost out by a single point in Sunday’s game away to Monaghan. Monaghan 1.21 Donegal 3.14

Registration:

Registration is now due. Club membership forms for Juvenile, Adult and Family are available from all club coaches/managers and to download from our website (www.seanmaccumhaill.com).  Registration is extremely important and non-registration will result in yourself or your child not being insured and unable to train or play for the club so please register as soon as possible. New members are more than welcome. Membership must be paid before March 31st, please ensure you register before this date.

Bingo:

The Bingo takes place in the Villa Rose on Sunday night with an 8.30pm start. The Snowball jackpot is €9,000 for 45 numbers or less. All are very welcome.

Lotto:

There was no winner of this week’s Lotto. The numbers drawn were 20, 26, 27 and 30. There was one match three winner of €150: Ann Quinn, Fintown. This week’s jackpot is still a massive €10,000. Barry Dowd’s team is selling this week. The club are asking for people to help out by selling lotto’s. All help available would be greatly appreciated. If interested please contact Terry O’Reilly on 086 609 5347.

Club Shop:

The club shop is now open on a Wednesday evening from 6.30 to 7.15pm. The shop has club crested shorts, socks and bags. We also have small sized hurling helmets in club colours with crest now half price at €55. The Club Shop also has a very limited number of new club items remaining in stock from the order before Christmas.

Club Notes:

Any member wishing to have items added to the club notes can email maccumhaillspro@gmail.com before Sunday for inclusion.

Donegal Yearbook:

The Donegal yearbook is now on sale. Please contact Eugene Gallagher on 086 609 8801 for a copy. This is a great book to have to look back on all the events of 2016 filled with pictures and info on each club. Book priced at €12.

Training Schedule:

Training takes place at the club unless otherwise specified. If there is a change of time/location it will be noted on Facebook or sent via text from the team manager. Training will cost €3 once a week and all players must have their membership paid. Please bring gum shield/helmet and a bottle of water. Other training info sent via group messages/Facebook.
