A man has been killed in a two car collision in Inishowen.
The accident happened just after 6pm this evening on the main Malin to Carndonagh road at Strand Head.
Gardai, the fire service and the ambulance service were alerted to the crash by a passer-by.
The dead man is understood to be from the Malin area.
Gardai have confirmed that one man is dead but no other details have been released at this stage.
The condition of the second person involved in the crash is not yet known.
Gardai are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact Buncrana Garda station.
