Deputy Joe McHugh has welcomed a funding announcement today for two Co Donegal national schools.
Minister McHugh says funding has been released for Schoil Conaill in Bunbeg, Gaoth Dobhair and St Patrick’s National School in Carndonagh.
The amount of funding involved isn’t released so it won’t affect the tender process.
The Carndonagh school has been given approval for three extra classrooms and an assisted user toilet facility.
The Gaoth Dobhair school has been given approval for a toddler changing area.
“I welcome the funding announced today. I have been in touch with both schools in recent weeks
and I am delighted with today’s announcement,” said Minister McHugh.
