A new group which aims to help Donegal people working in Dublin to connect is to hold its first networking event next week.
The Donegal Dublin Business Network will meet in the Dtwo Hotel in Harcourt Street next Thursday, February 16th between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.
The key note will be given by Donagh Kelly of KN Group.
There will be an exciting line-up of speakers which include men and women from Donegal who are leaders in their fields of business in Dublin
The main purpose of the Network is to form business relationships in Dublin with people from, or with a strong connection to, Donegal
We are creating a website with a members-only section with the aim of the website will be to connect Donegal people in business in Dublin with each other
The group intends to organise a regular series of events including a Donegal Dublin Business Network Christmas Lunch which would raise funds for a charity in Donegal.
The idea for the group was instigated by Minister Joe McHugh after seeing how well similar networks are working in cities like Edinburgh and Vienna
The committee is made up of men and women from Donegal who work in many different types of business in Dublin.
These areas include property, construction, investment, law, recruitment, marketing and their businesses vary in size from sole traders to multi-national companies.
