Early this morning a federal appeals court in San Francisco denied the US government’s request to resume President Trump’s travel ban.
President Trump banned refugees entering the USA, and travel from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. Even those with dual citizenship to one of the aforementioned countries had been stopped at the US border.
During his weekly address on Friday he said; “Last week I signed an executive order to keep terrorists out of our country”, which deliniates mechanisms of “vetting”, only allowing those into America with “good intentions”.
In light of this denial from Judge James Robart , travel will be allowed between the US and the seven countries Trump tried to ban.
