A community group will meet this afternoon in the Clonmany Day Centre to knit blankets for charity.
Organiser Josephine Gill is welcoming all volunteers to share an hour and help knit small squares to be turned into blankets.
These blankets will be donated to ‘fish and chip’ babies in Africa. These newborn babies are so called because they are wrapped in newspaper. They do not have clothes or blankets to keep them warm at night.
If you have time to spare for this worthy cause, come along to the Clonmany Centre at 2.45pm today (Tuesday, 31st January). The meetings will run every week for the next eight weeks.
