The second race of the Daly’s XL 3 Race Spring Series took place in Strabane this morning.
The Spring Series started two weeks ago, when a big crowd of nearly 300 took to the start line in Carrigans to kickstart the Series for 2017, with the race won by All-Ireland Novice Cross Country Champion, John Paul Williamson from Derry.
In its sixth year, the Series has gone from strength to strength and is an ideal start to the New Year for many runners and joggers.
As a mark of respect to their colleague Kevin Boyle who sadly passed away last week, a minutes silence was held for Kevin before the
race.
The Grand Finale will take place in Lifford on the 12th February.
