Commemorations took place in Derry this afternoon to remember the lives lost on Bloody Sunday.
Participants and bands assembled at Central Drive at 2pm and proceeded on to Rossville Street.
Bloody Sunday, also known as the Bogside Massacre, is the 1972 massacre in which British soldiers opened fire onto a crowd of 26 unarmed civilians who were marching against internment, claiming the lives of 14 people.
One of the fatalities was seventeen year old Jackie Duddy, who is seen in the iconic picture of the late Bishop Edward Daly waving a blood-stained handkerchief while rushing the teenager to safety before giving him his Last Rites.
The route will be as follows; Central Drive, Linsfort Drive, Iniscarn Road, Rathlin Drive, Southway, Lone Moor Road, Brandywell Avenue, Lecky Road, Westland Street, Laburnum Terrace, Creggan Street and William Street.
Although proceedings are due to conclude at 5pm, police are advising motorists to seek alternative routes during the parade and allow extra time for journeys.
