Fall in number of patients without a bed at LUH, says INMO

THE Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) reports another marginal drop in the number of people without a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital today.

According to figures released by the INMO this morning, there are 14 patients awaiting admission at LUH.

The number represents a fall of three from the 17 the INMO reported yesterday.

Of the 14 today, four are on Emergency department trollies.

The figure is a big drop compared to this day last week when there were 38 people without a bed at LUH.
