17 awaiting admission today at Letterkenny University Hospital

THERE ARE 17 patients without a bed this morning at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Five of the 17 are on Emergency Department trollies, the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) says.

Nationally, there are 459 patients awaiting admission to hospitals.

Last Tuesday, LUH had the highest number of patients without a bed (38), although that figure reduced as the week went on.
