Kincasslagh Rowers put on a fantastic performance at the Irish Indoor Rowing Championships in Limerick University yesterday, and have brought eight All-Ireland medals home to Donegal.
Kathleen McGonagle placed fourth in the 2000m and had a personal best time in the 500m.
Paul McGonagle came seventh in 2000m out of 16 competitors with a personal best time. Paul had a first ever podium finish claiming 3rd place and a bronze medal in the 500m with a new personal best time.
This outstanding indoor rowing event ended on a high with the Donegal team of Bernard Doohan, Paul McGonagle, Danny and Keane Ryan claiming first place in the 2000m relay.
A big congratulations to Bernard Doohan who claimed first place in the Men’s 30-39 section of the 2000m and Danny Ryan who claimed second place in the lightweight 40-49 2000m and 500m categories.
