THERE HAS been a significant drop in the number of patients awaiting admission at Letterkenny University Hospital.
While there are still 16 people without a bed at LUH this morning, the figure represents a big fall in numbers from earlier in the week.
On Tuesday, LUH had the highest number of patients – 38 – in the country awaiting admission.
The 16 today is a drop of nine from yesterday.
Of those 16, five are on Emergency Department trollies.
