DONEGAL’S ROMA McLaughlin will play in the Champions League this year after signing for Women’s National League winners Shelbourne.
The Greencastle woman has been with Peamount for the last two seasons having cut her teeth with her native Greencastle United.
McLaughlin was last season’s young player of the year in the Women’s National League and has been nominated again this year.
For the past two seasons, McLaughlin – who made her Republic of Ireland senior debut in 2016 – has been included on the WNL Team of the Year.
Shelbourne won the WNL last year and will compete in the Champions League in 2017.
