Thieves have broken into a yard in Letterkenny and stolen thousands of euro in valuable car parts.
The incident happened on Tuesday night last between 8pm and 9pm at Tinney’s Yard.
Among the items stolen were a number of headlamps from various vehicles.
There was also a considerable amount of damage caused to vehicles.
Gardai say there have been a number of similar break-ins across the country.
