The body of a man has been recovered in Killybegs.
The body of the elderly male was taken from hills near Lough Aderry on the outskirts of the fishing town.
The Killybegs Coastguard confirmed yesterday they were on a call-out but stood down their search in the early hours of this morning.
It followed an extensive search of the area between Killybegs and Ardara.
The elderly man had been reported missing yesterday by family members.
A Garda spokesman said that foul play is not suspected.
