Gorse fire brought under control in West Donegal

A crew from the Dungloe fire service have brought a gorse fire under control tonight Tuesday at Meenbanad near Burtonport.

The fire was discovered around 9pm and the emergency services were alerted.

The Dungloe fire crew responded and brought the blaze under control within a short time.

It is understood that no property was in danger.
