THE public defibrillator in Raphoe has moved location.
A real community effort, the defbrillator, which is sponsored by the local Credit Union, is held in a special heated box which has been sponsored by Councillor Frank McBrearty Junior.
The defbrillator is now located outside Coyle’s Filling Station at The Diamond.
The Raphoe Community Playgroup has sponsored the child pads while the box was fired free of charge by Robert and Darren Johnston from Glenmaquinn.
Raphoe Tidy Towns’ Kevin Gallagher completed the art work while the location and power supply is given by Coyle’s Centra, thanks to the good work of Don Brennan and Edward Coyle.
The defibrillator, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, was previously located at Bernard McCarron’s Butchers.
The defibrillator and its location was made happy by the Raphoe Community, for the Raphoe Community.
