Christmas Spirit LK have officially released the charity music video for ‘Put a Little Love in your Heart.’
The Letterkenny community came together last night for the first screening and to celebrate with some festive cheer. There were many familiar faces in the video, with businesses and groups coming together to sing and dance to the song.
The overall aim of the video is to raise €2,500 euro to be shared between the Donegal Hospice and Pieta House.
Speaking to Donegal Woman after the event, organiser Pete Rose said, “I’m very happy with the response from people, we’ve asked Letterkenny to carve a path on how to spread Christmas spirit … we think we’ll surprise a lot of people with the power of our little town.”
Local celebrities including Jason Quigley, Daniel and Majella O’Donnell and Mickey Joe Harte were featured, and 16 other businesses were invited to get involved.
There are members of Letterkenny’s frontline services in scenes, including the gardai, the Letterkenny University Hospital and Letterkenny Youth Service.
Make sure to watch to the very end for an extra cameo from “some buck”!
Christmas Spirit LK was a project launched by An Grianan Theatre Technician Pete Rose, and since 2015 it has grown to bring many local groups together for a fun, festive and worthwhile purpose.
