County Senior GAA champions Glenswilly have a new manager.
Well-known club stalwart Aidy Glackin is the new manager after he was voted into the position this afternoon at the club’s AGM.
Outgoing manager Michael Canning and his assistant Gary McDaid did not allow their names to go forward for the post because of work commitments.
Glackin, a mature student at LYIT, has been on the senior management backroom team for a number of years.
He said he was looking forward to his new role and was cherishing the challenge of retaining the Dr Maguire Cup.
The club also has a new chairman in Eddie Crawford who takes over form Peter McConnell who has served in the position for the past two years.
