The expected views of the rare supermoon in the sky last night were sadly blocked by heavy cloud cover across the county.
But when the clouds broke, some talented photographers caught great snaps of the phenomenon over Donegal.
Last night’s full moon was the closest, brightest and largest moon since 1948. The full moon won’t come this close to Earth again until Nov 25, 2034, so this was a very special sight.
Check out these stunning photos from last night’s lunar show. Send in your photos to be featured in this picture special.
