Rosses AC News:
Last Sunday saw action and a number of our club athletes travel to the ulster even ages cross country championships in Rostrevor in County Down. An early start but worth it all with Rosses success where the best Ulster has to offer lined out to contest the even ages xcountry. Michael O’Donnell came home in 4th place in u-10! He ran a fantastic race and continues the fine form he has shown all year and looks forward to the All Irelands.Lara Doherty finished 11th in u-16 girls and secured her place on the Ulster team in the All Ireland’s next month where she will represent her club, county and province!!!!Emma Brown ran her best xcountry race to date running a super race out of her age group. A huge well done to all and there was proud smiles on coaches Sinead Diver and Helen McCready – who herself decided 30 minutes before when she noticed there was an adult women’s races, togged out and came home a very strong 20th – a tough woman and coach!!!
