The Seals travelled to the Joey Dunlop Centre yesterday to take on Ballymoney A.S.C in the second round of the Provincial Towns League.
Having been beaten narrowly by Ballymena in the first round the club needed a victory in order to secure their place in the league division two.
The swimmers showed class in the first event the Medley Relays winning 7 from 8 comprehensively setting the tone for an exciting evening of competition.
The younger age groups dominated throughout as did the senior boys. Two female B swimmers swam up an age group to strengthen the ranks and were hugely impressive and successful.
A massive well done to all swimmers who gave their absolute all on a big victory over Ballymoney with a final scoreline of Swilly Seals 602 and Ballymoney 542.
The next P.T L gala is at home against Lecale of Downpatrick in January. Having been beaten away in Downpatrick last season swimmers will be out to get a victory over the strong County Down outfit.
In the meantime swimmers will be busy with the Bangor Minors Meet, War memorial and Winter Qualifying Meet in Lisburn.
