AIB has closed one of its busiest ATM machines in Donegal.
The machine, located next to Dunnes Stores at Lower Main Street in Letterkenny, had a steel sheet placed over it today.
A sign on the sheet read ‘ATM available inside Dunnes Stores.’
The machine has been the target of cyber-crime on a number of occasions when fake fronts were placed on the machine.
However, it is not known at this stage why the bank closed the machine.
The machine is hugely popular with the public along with AIB’s other nearest ATM machine at its bank on Upper Main Street.
