Carndonagh GAA Club News:
We have just started our Sports Hall this week and our committee have launched a Development Draw. I was hoping that maybe you could do a small article with the following information and attached picture.
With work having started on the Sports Hall this week, Carndonagh GAA Club have launched their Development Draw and they will very much appreciate your continued support to provide this excellent facility for the club and the community. Michael Doherty from the Sports Hall Fundraising Committee said ”Clg Carndonagh are delighted to be in a position to build a fully accessible indoor Sports Hall with a hurling wall and a handball wall.
The Sports Hall will be used by over 600 people each week regardless of weather conditions, fully inclusive of people with a disability and the elderly and it will be a major asset to be enjoyed by the whole community. We have been setting aside money for the development for some time but a serious fundraising drive began in 2014 and we have climbed mountains, run 5Ks, bag packed and hosted successful Mr & Mrs and Jigs & Reels shows to raise funds.
We wish to take this opportunity to acknowledge the great support of the community in assisting us with our fundraising efforts and to thank the hard working fundraising committee for their work”.
