Mr & Mrs
Malin GAA presents Mr & Mrs on Saturday 29th October, upstairs in our Clubhouse. Doors open at 8.30pm with the show starting at 9pm sharp. It’s always a brilliant nights entertainment and only €10. MC on the night is the fantastic Kevin Gallagher. Scor
Scór na nÓg will take place in Muff on Friday November 11th at 7.00pm. We are looking for competitors in the following competitions:1) Céilí dancing2) Solo singing3) Storytelling4) Grúpa Ceoil5) Historical Presentation6) Ballad Group7) Set Dancing8) Tráth na gCeist (Quiz). Competitors must be under 17 on 1st of January 2017 to be eligible to take part. Underage
The Minors beat Naomh Brid-Pettigo last Saturday in the county semi-final on a scoreline of 3-11 to 0-08. Best on the day for Malin were Conor Kelly, Conor McColgan, Joseph Doherty (PM), Joe Doherty & Ronan Lafferty. They now face Glenfin next Sunday at 2:00 in Convoy. They narrowly beat this side in the Northern Board Division 2 Shield final but know it will be a difficult game and the club would urge as much support as possible for this final and would like to wish Patrick Collins and his side the very best of luck. The boys under 13 team lost out to Buncrana in the Division 1 shield final on Monday night. The boys under 6 training starts back again on Sunday the 23rd of October and will continue every Sunday at 10:00-11:15am, new members welcome. The primary schools parish leagues start next Sunday at 11:15am for girls and boys. The club would ask for as much help from all club coaches and as many parents as possible to ensure the smooth running of these leagues. The under 12 girls continue training every Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:00pm, All girls are reminded to bring runners, football boots, €2 and a gum shield, new members welcome.
Lotto
There was no winner of this week’s jackpot of €1100. The numbers drawn were 3-7-1-4-6-2-5. The €50 winner was Seamus McLaughlin, Bunn, Glengad. Next week’s jackpot is €1150.
Club Pool Room
The pool room is now open every Saturday and Sunday evenings from 8:00pm to 11:00pm in the clubhouse for anyone looking to play a game of pool.
Jiving Lessons
Jiving Lessons continue in the clubhouse every Monday from 9pm to 10pm with Josie & Catriona. €5 per person. Everyone Welcome.
Irish Dancing
There will be Irish dancing lessons upstairs in the clubhouse every Wednesday from 4:00 to 5:15pm and every Friday 4:00 to 5:30 for boys and girls from age 3 and upwards. All beginners welcome, competitive and non-competitive dancers. Contact Donna for more details 0862615755.
Club Shop
If anyone is looking to buy club gear for Christmas, it must be ordered before Sunday the 23rd of October to guarantee it will be here as items such as the tight bottomed tracksuit bottoms take at least7-8 weeks to arrive. Our Club Shop is open every Saturday from 12.00pm to 2pm and Sunday from 11.20am to 2pm or alternatively contact Susan Byrne on 9370638 or 0867832242. The shop stocks a great range of in all sizes including coats, jackets, hoodies, tracksuits, socks, shorts, hats, gear bags and much more club merchandise. The club facebook page has a picture of some of the many items available along with a pricelist.
