This video uploaded by the official Wild Atlantic Way Twitter page captures the exquisite beauty of Slieve League.
The narrator speaks of the great sense of freedom you can experience when exploring the area, and that dolphins can be seen in the area as they are currently hunting tuna.
She explains that her father told her a story of a man who drove up Slieve League in the 70s, only to freeze at the wheel in awe at the spectacular view.
She also said that her family used to tell her that fairies lives in the more dangerous parts of the cliffs to deter her from exploring there.
She concludes by saying “you might get peace but you might find a few fairies up there too!”
