More than 90 Transition Year students from the Diocese of Raphoe received the Pope John Paul II Award at a special ceremony in the Villa Rose Hotel in Ballybofey last week.
For the award, the young people worked in both their parish and community throughout the year, lending their gifts and talents to many different ministries, clubs and charities.
Bishop Boyce and guest speaker Keith Kelly congratulated all involved in generously giving their time and effort to benefit others.
