Letterkenny based game development studio Timeslip Softworks is excited to reveal the launch of Greenlight and Kickstarter campaigns for their second game, Vigilantes.
The studio was founded by Daithi Mc Hugh, a graduate of LYIT, who works with artists and voice actors from all over the world to create quality games, which are sold globally.
Vigilantes is a turn based, combat role playing game, which shares a lot of common ground with chess. In Vigilantes, players assume the role of Sam Contino, a man who has decided to take a stand against organised crime in the fictional, declining city of Reiker.
The studio’s Greenlight campaign is a bid to secure a distribution contract with Steam, the world’s largest PC game distributor.
To be offered this contract, a large number of votes from Steam users are needed.
If you are a Steam user, and would like to help, our Greenlight campaign can be found by clicking here.
Vigilantes has been in development for almost two years, and we are running a Kickstarter to secure funding to help with upcoming costs. In the first day, the campaign has raised 18% of its goal.
The Kickstarter allows those interested in Vigilantes the chance to purchase a copy of the game at around 50% discount. If you would like to view the Kickstarter campaign, it can be found here.
A demo is available for Vigilantes for Windows, Mac and Linux. Given the crime themed setting, Vigilantes is not intended for children. The demo can be found here.
