RAPHOE NOTES:
Raphoe Family Resource Centre:
Suicide or Survive “National Tea Break”
On Thursday 29th September from 11am-1pm The Family Resource Centre will be hosting a ‘Tea Break’ in the Volt House Hall as part of Suicide or Survive’s “National Tea Break” which is taking place throughout the month of September. The aim of “National Tea Break” is to take on the challenge of breaking down the stigma linked to mental health, and to help raise vital funds for the Suicide or Survive organisation. SOS endeavours to challenge the stigma attached to mental illness and provide a range of educational and therapeutic programmes that increase understanding of suicide and play an active role in its prevention in Ireland. SOS delivered its very successful one-day Wellness Workshop in Raphoe away back in April, receiving very positive feedback from participants. The Family Resource Centre would extend an invitation to the whole community to take time out for a cuppa and join with us on 29th September.

They include CONNECT, BE ACTIVE, TAKE NOTICE, GET INVOLVED and GIVE. The Family Resource Centre is participating in the campaign by uploading photos with the #MyWee5 poster on our Facebook page.
