Donegal will get their Allianz National League campaign underway against Kerry on February 5th, as GAA chiefs released the provisional fixtures for the new season.
Rory Gallagher’s side will also host Dublin, Tyrone and Monaghan, and are on the road against Mayo, Cavan and Roscommon.
Donegal made a blistering start to the Allianz National League last season, winning their opening three league clashes, before then losing four on the spin.
They still reached the league semi-final, but easily dismantled by a rampant Dublin side – who have won the last four National League titles in-a-row.
Donegal’s squad will have a different look to it this season, following the high profile departures of Colm McFadden and Eamon McGee.
Rory Kavanagh, Neil Gallagher and possibly Karl Lacey are also rumoured to be considering their inter-county careers.
Donegal face Kerry, before heading to Roscommon the following weekend, the league then takes a break before Gallagher’s side resume action against Dublin.
Donegal’s fixtures are:
Donegal V Kerry (February 5th)
Roscommon V Donegal (February 12th)
Donegal V Dublin (February 26th)
Cavan V Donegal (March 4th)
Donegal V Tyrone (March 18th)
Donegal V Monaghan (March 25th)
Mayo V Donegal (April 2nd)
