Seamus Coleman has been passed fit by the Irish medical team and will captain Ireland tonight against Serbia in Belgrade.
Coleman was a doubt for the clash, as he hasn’t played for Everton so far this season, but thankfully he’s been given the all clear.
Martin O’Neill was confident of having his inspirational skipper available after he suffered no reaction when he resumed training a few days ago.
Coleman has been named as the Irish captain as the Boys in Green get their World Cup qualification campaign underway.
The Ireland XI to face Serbia is as follows:
Darren Randolph, Seamus Coleman, John O’Shea, Andy Keogh, Stephen Ward, Glenn Whelan, Jeff Hendrick, James McClean, Robbie Brady, Shane Long, Jonathan Walters.
