Shellfish exporters Errigal Bay have recorded an exponential rise in profits following growing international interest in Wild Atlantic fish.
The fish processor which employs over 200 people has its headquarters in Carrick, Donegal.
Errigal Bay have branches across Ireland and has sales operations across Europe, and as far afield as China.
Figures show that the company made a pre-tax profit of €2.45 million, despite losing €160,611 the year prior to that.
Interest in Irish seafood has sky-rocketed over the past few years, with seafood exports increasing by over 300% in the last five years.
