JOB VACANCIES: A Donegal Transport company are seeking applications for Travel Escorts in the following area’s Letterkenny, Castlefinn/Lifford, Killybegs and Carndonagh.
Job Responsibilities:
- To provide passenger assistance on transport services to people with intellectual disabilities and others with additional needs to enable them to travel safely on rural transport buses with other passengers.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must have achieved FETAC Level 5 or NVQ Level 1 in Healthcare.
- Special Needs Assistant Qualification or a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an ID/Special Needs facility or equivalent.
- Successful candidates must be willing to complete a module on Intellectual Disability if they have not already done so.
- Experience of working with people with an Intellectual Disability would be an advantage but not essential.
