FIVE Donegal sisters participated in the Women’s Mini Marathon in memory of Baby Mason, who was tragically born sleeping last year.
The incredible siblings participated in the marathon in June, and raised money for the brilliant charity organisation Feilecain.
Féileacáin is a not for profit organisation that provides support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during or after pregnancy.
The Friel sisters Monica Mc Granaghan, Bernie Diver, Eileen Mc Gettigan, Cora Rodger,(niece) Anna Anderson, and Sharon Rodgers from Glencar, Letterkenny did the marathon in memory of Anna’s baby Mason, who was born sleeping in August 2015.
The sisters raised approx €2,500 which they presented to Charlotte and Bernard McCauley who were representing Feilecain.
Well done girls, and what a great tribute to Baby Mason.
