Molly McDermott is just seven and has a brain tumour but she is stable after her last surgery.
She had a mini stroke after her last surgery and she has weakness down the right side so she needs constant help.
Her parents Philip and Edel say: “She is constantly falling around 6 to 7 times a day, has speech problems, eye problems and a lot of learning difficulties.
“We have spent 6 months in the rehabilitation hospital at the start of last year and 8 weeks at the end of the year.
“Molly is going for a MRI now on the 5th of Sept so we are praying that the tumour stays stable she attends a lot physio and speech therapy and is getting a new treatment from people in Hungary.”
All funds raised on the evening will help Molly.
After the success of last year’s over 40s 50s & 60s football event to raise funds for Mark Farren it was decided to run it again this year for young Molly McDermott.
Mark Farren’s family are going to be at Moville Celtic grounds to present the cup on the night.
It’s a great night’s craic with local businessmen, politicians and local celebrities togging out to raise funds for a great cause.
Minister Charlie McConalogue, Cllr Martin Farren, Celebrity Chef Brian McDermott, former Donegal Ladies Manager Davy McLaughlin as well as a few ex-soccer legends from Finn Harps & Derry City will all be there.
