Donegal marathon kicked off yesterday morning in Letterkenny, and was officially launched by the winner of the Joule Donegal International Rally, Manus Kelly!
Rosses Athletic Club runner Ciaran McGonagle won the marathon with a fantastic time of 2 hours, 41 minutes, and 13 seconds.
The Jennings sisters really gave it socks! The first female to cross the finish line was Catriona Jennings, who traveled to London to represent Ireland in the 2012 Olympics! Olympic athlete Sinead Jennings was barely off the plane from Rio before she competed in the half-marathon and won the ladies section!
Pauric Breslin won the half-marathon just ahead of Gavin Crawford and Michael Black. His time was 1 hour, 15 minutes and 23 seconds.
