A large crowd turned out to welcome back Olympic hero Sinead Jennings to her hometown of Letterkenny this evening.
The Hawthorn Heights woman was greeted warmly after her terrific performance at the Olympic Games in Rio.
Rower Sinead may have missed out on a medal but she did her town, county and country proud.
Sinead was greeted by neighbours and friends but firstly by her beloved mum and dad Theresa and Mick.
Sinead spoke of her enjoyment of the Games and thanked all those who turned out to welcome her home.
