Childline has issued an appeal to anyone affected by the media coverage of the Erin Gallagher inquest to get in touch with them.
The service says it wants to remind young people through Donegal Daily that the Childline helpline is just a text or a phone call away.
“We are here 24 hours a day to listen to any concerns children or young people may have. We are a non-judgmental, anonymous, confidential free service.
“Don’t be afraid to speak to someone if you are experiencing difficulties, we are here to listen, around the clock,” said a spokesperson.
