Letterkenny
The under 16 boys recorded a good win over St Michael’s at the Burn Road on Monday evening, and will now travel to meet Urris on Wednesday 17 th August in the Division 2 semi-final.
Our under 14 boys did us proud this year, and provided many wonderful hours of football. They were runners up in the County Under 14 Division 1 Boys Final last Friday night in Convoy. They are a fantastic and talented group of boys and deserve a rest after giving their coaches Paddy & James, their sponsors, families, and everyone at the club a fantastic season of exceptional gaelic football. Thank you Paddy & James for giving these boys everything and for volunteering your time all season.
The under 13 boys have their first game of the year on Friday Aug 19 th at 7pm, away to Robert Emmetts, followed on Wednesday August 24 at 7pm by Glenswilly As at the Burn Road, and Burt at home the following Friday, August 26 th . And on the last day of the month, they travel to Ballybofey to play Mac Cumhaills As.
Our U12 boys were magnificent and have tales galore of gaols and points scored, tackles and blocks made in Croke Park earlier today. The huge cheers that greeted the boys on their entry to the hallowed turf and for every score, and there were many, will be remembered for a long long time. The first Termon team to grace the incredible stadium and got to prepare in the dressing rooms where Donegal were two weeks ago….A fantastic day for all involved with Paddy, David and Eddie also relishing getting to see their team represent Termon and Donegal with style in games against Malin and Glenfin.
Lotto
Last week’s draw took place in McClafferty’s, Church Hill, with no jackpot winner. Next week’s draw is for the fine sum of €2,050 and the draw takes place in The Glenveagh Inn with Conor Tinney and Kevin McElwaine co-ordinating.
Ladies
The Minor Ladies are playing Mac Cumhaills at home next Tuesday at 7 pm in the quarter finals. Best of luck to the girls and management. All support greatly appreciated.
U13 training is starting tomorrow, Wednesday at 6-7. All newcomers especially welcome. Commiserations to the Donegal Senior ladies who, after a hard fought quarter final against Dublin, were unfortunate not to make it the next stage. Well done to the girls and management on making it that far, a great achievement for all involved.
Well done to the U17 county development squad and their managers on some amazing performances in the all Ireland blitz and for making it as far as the semi finals. Great achievement girls.
