Amazing meteor picture lights up the Donegal skyline

When most of us were tucked up in the warmth of our beds this morning, Letterkenny man Joe Langan was out doing what he does best.

Never one to miss an opportunity the photographer was out looking for shots of last night’s meteor shower.

And this shot taken on top of Lough Salt doesn’t disappoint.

Creeslough is to the left and Downings is to the right and an amazing meteor can been racing through the skyline.
