DONEGAL LADIES
Exciting times for the senior ladies this week as they prepare to meet Dublin in the All Ireland quarter finals on Saturday, we wish the Termon girls on the team, Roisin Friel and Therese McCafferty, and all the squad all the very best of luck for Saturday, and hope to see good support for the girls in Pearse Park, throw-in at 5pm.
SENIOR MEN : LEAGUE
With Donegal’s exit from the All-Ireland championship, focus now returns to club football. This Sunday we welcome St Eunan’s to the Burn Road, with the Reserves taking to the field at 1:30 and the seniors at 3pm. We have only a handful of league games left, so make the most of the opportunity to see the remaining games at the Burn Road.
ALL IRELAND MINOR SEMI-FINAL
Less than 2 weeks to go for Enda and the boys as they prepare to meet Galway on Sunday 21 st August. Just a note to season tickets holders, the season ticket does not cover our minors playing in this game, and tickets must be ordered/purchased via the usual outlets.
BINGO
€2,600 will be given away in prizes on Friday night at Bingo at 9 in An Craoibhín, and a jackpot of €850 is also there to be won on 48 numbers or less.
CÚL CAMP
A record 130 of our young players are at the Burn Road for the annual Cúl Camp. Huge thanks to Hugh Harkin, Coaching Officer, for all his hard work in organising this year’s camp.
UNDER 14 BOYS’ COUNTY FINAL
All roads lead to Convoy on Friday evening when our under 14 boys take to the field at 7pm to meet St Eunan’s in the County Division 1 final. As winners of the Northern final, the boys overcame Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon in the all county semi-final, and now once again meet St Eunan’s who defeated Ardara in their county semi-final. These two teams have met regularly in recent years, and this game promises to be another hotly contested encounter. It would be great to see good support for the boys in their final game of the year, especially when that game is a county Division 1 final!
UNDER 12 BOYS OFF TO PÁIRC AN CHRÓCAIGH
Next Tuesday, August 16 th sees a very excited bunch of our under 12 boys head off to play in Croke Park, a dream day out for a 12 year old Gaelic player!
