Local business man Donal Skelly launched a prank on social media last night promising to drive Pokémon enthusiasts around areas of Donegal where there may be a high concentration of Pokémon dwelling.
The popular game uses your phone’s camera and location to track the elusive little creatures. When you come across one, you throw a pokéball at it and hope you can catch it. Over 100 million people have downloaded the game.
As the game relies on the gamer’s ability to travel, many report weight loss due to playing!
In his status, Donal said; “To save so many people getting knocked down crossing roads and falling of cliffs trying to catch Pokemon, I am starting Pokemon Go Tours”. The status was extremely popular, with hundreds reacting to it.
Today Donal told Donegal Daily; “It’s only a joke because so many do it and it winds up those that can’t stand it, but you never know it might take off”.
There might just be a gap in the market!
