TRAFFIC UPDATE: Thousands of Donegal GAA supporters are stuck in huge five mile tailbacks as they make their way into the city for today’s All-Ireland quarter-final clash at GAA HQ.
Tyrone are playing Mayo at 4pm, so with thousands of supporters from both counties streaming into the capital using the same route – it has led to major traffic delays.
One Donegal fan told us, “There is a massive five mile tailback heading into Dublin.
“It’s a combination of both Donegal and Tyrone fans heading to the match, and normal Saturday traffic heading into the capital.
“It’s an absolute nightmare, we’ve been stuck barely moving for around 45 minutes.”
Donegal don’t play until 6pm, so despite the tailbacks, they’ve got plenty of time to see their heroes in action, but many Tyrone fans will be sweating as they race against the clock to see their clash with Mayo at 4pm.
We’ll have more updates on the major traffic delays as it develops.
