GAA: Donegal forward Patrick McBrearty has been named the GAA player of the week for his stunning individual display over Cork last weekend.
The Kilcar man helped himself to eleven points, six of which came from play.
He ensured Donegal edged out the Rebel County, and set-up a tantalising clash between Dublin tomorrow evening at Croke Park.
Readers of the popular Irish sports website Balls.ie have resoundingly named McBrearty as their player of the week.
McBrearty beat off competition from Darran O’Sullivan, Cillian O’Connor and Michael Quinlivan to top the poll.
Donegal fans will be hoping he can produce more of the magic at Croke Park this week, as Rory Gallagher’s men plot the downfall of reigning All-Ireland champions Dublin.
