When you turn 30 life seems to get a little more serious, sure you still have lots of fun but it is a very busy decade!
Careers are in full swing, you know who you are, relationships are serious and often this is when families get started. So it’s no surprise that your lifestyle may actually dictate your hairstyle as much as your face shape and hair texture does.
Wherever life has taken you, by the time you reach your 30’s you’re probably a busy lady and you need a hairstyle that keeps up with your lifestyle but still portrays how young and sexy you really are.
Patrick asked Anita one of our Style Directors to talk us through some beautiful cuts that will work great when you are in your 30’s
Graduated Bob – Kiera Knightly
When it comes to simple yet stylish haircuts, graduated bobs are perfect. Because it is shorter at the back and slightly angled at the front it has so much volume and texture. The great news is that it’s chic, modern, and very easy to style and flatters just about every face shape and hair texture.
Long Soft Layers with a fringe- Jessica Biel
It doesn’t matter if we are 16 or 60 some of us are never ready to chop off our long locks which is of course fine but that doesn’t mean that we can’t add some texture and personality with the addition of long layers and a fringe. Not only will a fringe cover up the signs of aging it will also frame your best features. Patrick says the key is to choose a fringe suited to your face shape. For example, round faces can pull off straight across fringes while others will others will suit lash grazing version that angles down at the corners.
Tousled Layers- Zoe Saldana
Women in their 30’s don’t want their hair to be overdone and there is nothing more beautiful yet understated than tousled layers. Patrick says that any face shape can pull off a wavy medium length cut and it is also suitable for fine or coarse hair. Layers that start at your chin will make waves look even more bouncy and beautiful.
Blunt Lob- Olivia Palermo
We have seen lots of requests for the blunt lob over the past few months. The great thing about this style is the length because it is a little longer often sitting on your collar bone you can wear it up or down with ease and with the addition of layers or having a blunt edge
there is a lob for every face shape.
