On Saturday last, family & friends gathered at Casadh an TSugain in memory of Conor Boyle.
A 5K/10K fun run was held to raise much needed funds for the Rehab centre in Letterkenny. A staggering amount of just over €3500 was raised on the day through donations and a raffle.
Over 170 people participated in the run. “The turnout today shows that Conor Boyle and Seán Sweeney has a special place in the heart of this community” – said event organiser John Walsh.
“We are very grateful to The Bayview Bar, The Cope, Casadh an TSugain, Happy Days Derrybeg, McDonagh’s Tyres, Moore’s Service Station, En Vie & all who sponsored wonderful prizes for the raffle.”
“I would also like to thank everyone who attended and donated to such a great cause, especially the lads who made the journey from Leeds to be here today in honor of the late Seán Sweeney.”
