Kathleen DONAGHEY
The death has occurred of Kathleen Donaghey(née Devlin), Magheracorran, Convoy, Donegal. Daughter of Kathleen and the late Mack Devlin, Baherna, Clonmany. Remains are reposing at her residence. Funeral from there on Wednesday, 27 July, at 10.20am for 11am Mass in St Mary’s Church, Convoy, and burial afterwards at the old cemetery. Rosary each night at 10pm. Family time from 11pm to 11am.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Donegal Hospice or the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital care of any family member or Gibson Funeral Directors, Convoy.
Gerald HUNTER
The death has occurred of Gerald Hunter, Main Street, Killygordon peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital after a short illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Noreen and much loved father of Stephen and Michael and devoted brother of Gerry. Greatly missed by his wife, sons, brother, daughter-in-law Lynsey and Danica, extended family and very many friends.
Remains reposing at his home today, Tuesday, July 26th, from 5pm. Funeral leaving his home at 10.30am on Thursday, July 28th, to arrive at St.Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to Cancer Research, c/o any family member. Family time from 11pm until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.
Sally GALLAGHER
The death took place today at her residence of Sally Gallagher, Cashleenan, Kilmacrennan, Co. Donegal and formerly of Kings Park, Belfast (Armstrong family). Reposing at her residence until removal on Thursday 28th at 11.20am to St Columba’s Church, Kilmacrennnan for Requiem Mass at 12 noon and interment in St Columba’s Cemetery.
Sally was the sister of Jim, Bridget, Nellie, Rose Robinson and Susan Friel. She is sadly missed by all her nieces, nephews, family circle, neighbours and friends.
Samuel CLARKE
The death has taken place of Samuel Clarke, Lisfannon, Burt.
Removal from his sister Annie Ramsey’s home, 86 Culmore Road on Wednesday, 27th July, at 2pm for burial in Burt Presbyterian Church burial ground.
Seamus BOYCE
The death has taken place of Seamus Boyce, Umlagh, Carrigart, Donegal / Derry in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. Reposing at the residence of his sister Winifred Ward, 9 Tara Court, Letterkenny.
Removal today, Tuesday, 26th July, at 5pm, to The Church of St. John The Baptist, Carrigart. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 27th July, at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Iris MCAULEY
The death has occurred of Iris McAuley. Iris, the wife of the late Billy, has passed away at her home, 41 Drumahoe Road after a long illness, bravely fought. Much loved by her children, Andrew, Graham, Mark, Lisa and David.
A wonderful mother and grandmother. Funeral at 12.30pm at All Saints Clooney Parish Church on Thursday.
John MCCAFFERTY
The death has taken place of John McCafferty, Cavan Town and formerly Stranorlar, Co. Donegal on Tuesday July 26th 2016, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital, John, son of the late Paddy and Sheila McCafferty and brother of the late Dermot. Beloved Father of Kim and dear friend of Teresa. Sadly missed by his adored Family friend Ruby, his brothers and sisters Judy McDermott, Stranorlar, Margaret Chambers, Stillorgan, Patrick, ( Derry) Lucy, Stranorlar, Karl, (Convoy) Nora McManus, Stranorlar and Liz Toner, Salthill, his brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces his colleagues in the Music World, all his relatives and friends.
Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan on Wednesday evening from 3.30 O’clock until removal at 6.00 O’clock to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan arriving at 6.30. Funeral Mass on Thursday afternoon at 1.30pm. followed by removal to John’s native Donegal to repose with Family. No flowers please, donations in lieu would be appreciated to the patients comfort fund, Cavan General Hospital C/o McMahon Funeral Directors, Cavan; collection box at the Cathedral or any Family member.
