Bump and Baby Expo, the North West’s biggest baby show, has set its due date for arrival in Letterkenny next month.
The exciting baby show, in association with Browne’s Autos, will be hosted by the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny on Saturday and Sunday, August 20 and 21.
The bumper two-day event, which was launched this week, will provide an expansive ‘delivery room’ for helpful tips and advice on all things bump, baby and beyond. The showcase will give visitors the low-down on essential products and services for everything a family needs to support mums and children from tummy to toddler.
Visitors will have access to expert speakers including a midwifery professional, a paediatric first aid trainers, a nutritionist and fitness coach, a breastfeeding expert, a placenta encapsulation expert, a health and beauty specialist, a doctor of chiropractic and many others.
A pharmacist from Boots will field questions and provide helpful advice while experts from Mothercare and Smyths will be on hand with information on pushchairs, car seats, cots and much more.
A host of local suppliers of essential baby, toddler and maternity goods and services will labour to ensure visitors have all the information they need under one roof.
Prizes galore will be on offer during the two-day event including an impressive hamper from Boots, a sought after Blank Canvas cosmetics brushes pack, a generous €100 in Baby Sensory classes, a fabulous Yummy Mummy Makeover with full hair and make-up package, trendy mum and baby bags, plus lots more.
The event is the brainchild of local mum-in- business Martina McAuley, whose daily routine involves a balancing act of leading a successful HR consultancy while caring for two adorable bouncing baby girls.
The career mum-of- two co-founded HR Team while pregnant with her second child and following a successful career as operations manager for a multinational retailer.
She said; “I have two bouncing baby girls, aged one and three and – as anyone with young children will tell you – it can be hard to keep up with the latest information on products, child safety and health matters for mums and babies.”

Bump and Baby Expo Letterkenny on August 20 and 21 is the first in a series of events planned for 2016 in the North West. Due dates are as follows: Bump and Baby Expo Derry at the Everglades Hotel on October 1-2, and Bump and Baby Sligo at the Clarion Hotel on November 5-6.
