DONEGAL lead Tyrone by in the SFC Ulster Final at baking hot Clones today.
The scoreline – 0-07 to 0-04 – doesn’t reflect Donegal’s dominance of the game with Ryan McHugh in sensational form and hitting some sweet points against a nervous and inexperienced Tyrone side which has failed to match the Donegal boys.
To add to Red Hand woes both Cathal McShane and Mattie Donnelly have been black carded as the Tyrone men have struggled to keep up with the intricate passing moves of Donegal.
Both sides hit three wides apiece in the opening minutes as they struggled to find their range.
Tyrone eventually led by two points but Donegal reeled them in with lovely scores.
It’s still anybody’s game – just three points in this; and Donegal look at this stage as if they have the gameplan and experience to do it.
