Location: Letterkenny, Co. Donegal
Salary: €25k-€30k. Negotiable depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities of the Job: This is a new and senior position that would suit a person seeking a new and exciting challenge. As Office Manager you will be responsible for the proper and overall management of the business and co-ordinate the work of the other Departments within the company.
This is a significant position of responsibility and will require a person of determination and dedication. The client company has experienced major growth, development and change in recent years.
We now require a person with skills and vision to oversee the restructuring of the business, the establishment of new systems and procedures and the management of this change process.
Provide support and assistance to the CEO as required.
Adhere to the Company best price practice policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory employment law, Health and Safety.
Ensure the smooth running of the office administration, reception and business.
Carry out staff recruitment, appraisals, training and induction.
Develop and implement administrative systems, such as record management.
Manage office expenditure, budgets, supplies, ICT, Social Media.
Prepare Management reports and presentations.
Manage application for ISO 9001.
Organise and chair meetings with staff and other managers.
Ensure adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in workload.
Provide reports for the CEO on the performance of the business along with recommendations.
Essential Criteria
Proven experience of managing a busy office department.
3 years previous experience working in a similar role.
Ability to manage a team of staff.
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment
Computer literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Sage.
Excellent communication skills.
Commercial acumen.
Ability to work under pressure.
Solutions based attitude.
Highly organised, with a high attention to detail and ability work on own initiative.
